Our Intelligent Charging feature with both Power Delivery (PD) and Quick Charge (QC) protocols identifies the charging profile of the connected device to ensure it is charged in most effective and efficient way whilst preserving battery health. With one device plugged into a USB type-C port it can deliver a 27.0W of power. The adoption of USB type-C ports on our sockets is aligned with the current trends of popular devices in smartphones, tablets, laptops and wearable technologies. Further encouraged by the latest EU (and UK) regulation of standardising USB type-C for these types of devices and gadgets. Manufactured from high grade galvanised steel and power coated in either industrial grey or classic white. A robust and reliable socket with fast charging features perfect for high footfall and industrial areas. The twin socket itself is in common with all Sollysta switched sockets, double pole in construction and featuring the patented Sollysta 3 pin safety shutter system. A slim profile allowing it to be mounted to a 25mm back box (flat plate requires 35mm back box, unless a spacer is used). Independently tested and conforming to BS 1363-2:2023.
