This is a fast charger for 14.4V to 18V Li-ion slide type batteries. It can charge a BL1820B 18V 2.0 Ah Li-ion battery in 24 minutes, BL1830B 18V 3.0 Ah or BL 1430B 14.4V 3.0 Ah battery in 22 minutes, BL1840B 18V 4.0 Ah battery in 36 minutes, BL1850B 18V 5.0 Ah battery in 45 minutes and BL1860B 18V 6.0 Ah battery in 55 minutes.Features a changing melody and cooling system. The melody plays on completion of charge. The Charger is equipped with a cooling fan for heated battery in order to enable the battery to provide its own performance.Also has a built-in CPU that gathers information from the battery's memory chip to determine optimum charging method. This ensures that the battery is charged in the most efficient way possible, extending its lifespan.
