Pattress Boxes

Pattress boxes are used when electrical sockets or switches need to be mounted on the surface of a wall rather than recessed into it. They create the space needed to house wiring and terminals when cables are run externally, or when cutting into the wall is not practical.

They’re commonly used in garages, workshops, utility rooms, and outbuildings and allow wiring to be installed quickly without chasing into masonry or plasterboard.

Our range of surface mounted sockets are available in a range of depths and sizes, including single (1 gang) and double (2 gang) options.
