SHINE BRIGHT WIN BIG 2023 TERMS & CONDITIONS  

1. The promoter is Rexel UK Limited, a company incorporated in England and Wales, with company registration number 00434724 and having its registered office at Eagle Court 2, Hatchford Brook, Hatchford Way, Sheldon, Birmingham B26 3RZ.  

2. The promotion will run from 30th October 2023 (the “Opening Date”) to 23:59 hours on 31st December 2023 (the “Closing Date”) inclusive.   

3. By participating in this Promotion, all participants will be deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions and by any other requirements set out in the promotional material. Entrants must be aged 18 or over to enter.   

HOW TO ENTER 

4. There is a is a purchase requirement. Customers must spend a minimum of £100 (ex VAT) on THORNeco products to enter. All prices exclude VAT. Northern Ireland residents are not eligible but can enter via the no purchase necessary route detailed below.  

5. Customers can enter x1 time for every £100 (ex VAT) spent on THORNeco products with no cap! Spend more to get more chances to win! Maximum 2 prizes per customer.  

6. The promotion only applies to THORNeco products only. All products are subject to availability and the promotional offers are available while stocks last.  

7. The purchasing customer has the responsibility to fill out the Product Promotion Draw form. Customers who do not fill out the Prize Entry form will not be included in the product promo prize draw.  

8. It is the entrants responsibility to ensure they comply with their business or company’s prize entry rules, included but not limited to gifts and hospitality rules.  

9. Entrants can enter the draw up to 31st December for qualifying purchases in the promotion period. Any attempts to enter after this date will be invalid and ineligible for a prize.  

10. No purchase necessary (NPN) for Northern Ireland resident electricians only. For Northern Ireland resident electricians, the prize draw can be entered as follows:

• Complete the entry form with the following details: Name, Business Name, Email Address, Mailing Address.  

• All valid NPN entries will be given an equal and random chance of winning a prize.  

• The winner will be drawn at random from all eligible entries.  

11. The offer is open to customers with a Rexel trading account. For clarity, this excludes;  

• Employees of Rexel or its holding or subsidiary companies  

• Employees of agents or suppliers of Rexel or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the competition or its administration; or  

• Members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above  

• Certain accounts may be excluded from this promotion due to agreed terms already negotiated (e.g. National Account Customers)  

12. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, network or server failure of any kind.   

13. Entrants must ensure they provide a correct and up to date address and contact information in order for them to be contacted should they be a winner. The Promoter and/or its agency is not responsible for incorrect entry details.  

THE PRODUCT PROMOTION DRAW & PRIZES 

14. The SHINE BRIGHT WIN BIG product promotion draw will take place on Friday 19th January, and will be drawn at random via a computerised generator from all valid entries. Entries will be validated against the Order Number or CO number to ensure details provided are correct and the entry is valid.  

15. Any entrants who win a prize using false, or inaccurate information will have their prize rescinded.  

16. The promoter reserves the right to withdraw any prize(s) where the customer has not complied with these terms and conditions.  

17. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, Rexel may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude a customer from participating in the promotion.  

18. Rexel reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so. Rexel will only process the customer’s personal information as set out in privacy policy.  

19. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.  

20. The Rexel and THORNeco Product Promotion Draw competition (the “Promotion”) is being fulfilled by The Marketing Lounge Partnership (a company incorporated in England and Wales with registered number 6467245, whose registered office is at The Cow Shed, Walnut Tree Farm, Lower Stretton, Cheshire WA4 4PG, the “Operator”), on behalf of Rexel UK Limited (The Promoter).  

• The prizes on offer for this promotion are;  

Liability 

• Except in the case of death or personal injury arising from negligence, or in respect of fraud, the Promoter and Operator, their group companies, their employees, and their agents exclude responsibility and all liability to the maximum extent permitted by law, including in respect of (without limitation): a) any postponement or cancellation of the Promotion; b) any changes to, supply of or use of the prize; and c) any act or default of any third party supplier, which are beyond the Promoter’s and Operator’s reasonable control.  

• Customers will have no claim or action whatsoever against the Promoter and Operator, their group companies, their employees, and their agents their agents, employees or agencies as a result of participating in the Promotion.  

• The Promoter and Operator reserve the right to withdraw or amend the Promotion in the event of unforeseen circumstances outside their reasonable control.  

• The Promoter and Operator, their group companies, their employees, and their agents do not accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure, regardless of cause, including, for example, equipment failure, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; which may restrict, delay or prevent the transmission or receipt of your entry or which may be regarded as spam or junk mail.  

• If the Promoter or Operator has grounds to suspect any entrant or third party of cheating, deception or fraudulent or un-sportsman-like conduct of any kind (including, without limitation, manipulating the Promotion or any entry) the Promoter or Operator reserves the right (in their sole discretion) to disqualify any entrant, entry or person it reasonably believes to be responsible for, or associated with such activity.  

• An entrant is responsible for the behaviour of themselves and their guest(s) whilst enjoying a prize. The Promoter and Operator, have the right in their absolute discretion to exclude an entrant and/or guest(s) from participation in a prize if the entrant and/or their guest(s) fail to comply with the directions of the Promoter and Operator, or acts in a manner that is dangerous to themselves or to the public or is anti-social in any manner or which causes a disturbance or nuisance to others. 

General 

• The Promotion is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram or Twitter and by entering the Promotion you release LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram or Twitter from any action or claim arising out of the Promotion.  

• These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England & Wales and the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with the Promotion.  
    
  The Promoter and Operator will only use personal information provided by entrants for the purpose of administering the Promotion except as explained below in relation to photography. Please refer to Rexel UK Limited’s privacy policy for further details.  

• Where prizes are third party products or service those third parties’ privacy policies will also be applicable, and acceptance may be a condition of receipt of the product or service. 

• Tax and National Insurance liabilities are the responsibility of the individual benefiting from the reward or benefit and (in the case of employers National Insurance) their employer. By agreeing to these terms and conditions the Customer agrees that the appropriate notifications will be made. 

Photography 

• Top Prizes (except vouchers) will be presented at the winning customer local Rexel Branch and will include photo and video footage from the event.  

• All Prize winners (except vouchers) must, at the Promoter’s request, participate in reasonable promotional activity (such as publicity, photography and video recording) surrounding the winning of any prize, free of charge, and they consent to the Promoter using their name and images and any material resulting from such promotional activity in any medium (including without limitation on the internet) in any manner it sees fit.
