A shared approach: the Environmental Charter

The Rexel Environmental Charter has been introduced across the Group to encourage all employees to adopt best practices in their everyday activities.

The ten, easy-to-follow actions fall into three main fields:

• with customers
• in the branch
• waste and recycling sorting
• Deployed in 34 countries and available in twenty languages, the Charter forms part of a process of continuous improvement. And to gauge progress, the average number of actions introduced in each country is measured once a year.

The Charter is accompanied by the Rexel Guide for the Environment, an educational tool to help branch managers implement recommended actions.
